Petrossian Boutique & Café, located in exclusive Beverly Hills at 321 N Robertson Boulevard, offers an exciting blend of light café fare along with delectable gourmet foods for purchase. The menu, offered as dine in or take out, features breakfast and luncheon choices. Open since 2001 with a sister store in both Paris and New York City, Petrossian offers an elegant sampling and touch of Paris. This is a family business begun by the Petrossian brothers.

Highlights

The menu choices span a range from subtle flavorings to bold and daring including smoked, spiced, and marinated. From whitefish salad to smoked trout dip to smoked scallops to several different types of fish, the choices are tempting and mouth watering.

Other specialties found here include foie gras, and smoked trout, smoked black cod, salmon, eel, and sturgeon. The foie gras is offered in subtle variations including mousse, with truffles, and pate.

Petrossian imports its salmon from the waters of the North Atlantic, uses a special five-day smoking process, and serves it in a variety of ways including on toast points or baguettes.

Several kinds of roe are featured here including salmon roe, trout roe, and pike roe.

Along with several other choices, meals can be served with Brut Champagne or Russian Vodka.

The most talked about option on the long list of gourmet items is the caviar. Several varieties are sold at Petrossian including Tsar Imperial Beluga, Hackleback, Chataluga, Stellatus, Ossetra, and Sevruga with the latter two being the most economical of the three.

Imported French chocolates are also featured here including wine-filled chocolates, toffee combinations, chocolate bars, chocolate truffles, and fudge. A sampling of other non-chocolate options includes candied chestnuts, nut brittles, and pates de fruits.

The breakfast menu features freshly made quiche. Additionally, patrons can order sliced Petrossian Smoked Salmon with croissant, jam, and butter. Alternatively, guests can also order the French Breakfast Basket that includes a warm assortment of mini croissants, raisin bread, and mini pain au chocolat.

Atmosphere

Large glass windows and attractive blue awnings greet visitors as they approach the café. Outside, an attractive bevy of tables on the outer fringes of the store interspersed with potted plants set the stage for intimate dining. The interior offers a small selection of seating options.

Practical Information

Lunch and breakfast are offered between the hours of 11:00 am and 10:00 pm on Mondays through Fridays.
Lunch and breakfast are offered between the hours of 11:00 am and 10:00 pm on Saturdays.
Brunch is offered on Sundays from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm.
