Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ Dining

By: Diane L Divo-Schultheis

If you like do-it –yourself meat grilling, this great Japanese BBQ restaurant is for you. You get to be the chef and cook tasty morsels of your favorites over charcoal. You get to share the warmth of your family or friends and the warmth of the delicious meals made here. This is a very well known restaurant in Japan. You will have a hard time finding another BBQ one like this. They also offer many Korean food favorites.

The Setting

This is a narrow dining room with the traditional tatami booths that has excitement you can feel in the air. The servers are quick and the music is electronica and hip-hop. The crowd range from hipsters to families spending quality time together. You can sense the anticipation of being able to play with an open grill. It is very friendly and fun to spend time here creating your masterpiece of a meal.

The Food

They have these restaurants located all over Japan and take pride in the high quality and efficiency they are known for. You can choose from briny shrimp, tender kalbi, and six other meats that are soaked in soy sauce-based sweet marinade, ta’re, miso, or shio, a salty sesame secret sauce.
